Offers and verified hire

Offers and verified hire

Make the offer with confidence.

Bring compensation, approvals, signatures and verification into one workflow. Elevator by Superset helps your team agree the details and prepare a complete hire record for your HRIS.

Compensation builder

See the full compensation picture.

Build offers from six compensation components and compare them with the requisition’s approved band. View total and recurring costs together, with additional approval routed automatically when an offer exceeds the band.

What’s included
  • Multi-currency bands, INR and AED today
  • Band-breach routing inserts the committee before final signature, with a tolerance so a 0.3% overage does not convene one
  • Offer states: draft, pending approval, approved, released, negotiating, accepted, declined, revoked, expired
Requisitions and headcount

Versioning and negotiation

Keep negotiations clear for everyone.

Track each offer version, the candidate’s response and the changes your team makes. Recruiters, hiring managers and finance share the same history, with a record of who changed each detail.

What’s included
  • Field-level diff between versions with the actor on each change
  • Candidate response and counter-offer log on the offer itself
  • Every version kept in the audit log with actor, timestamp and before-and-after

Approval and signature

Move from approval to signature.

Review offers through a shared approval inbox, then generate letters from governed templates. Track when an offer is issued, viewed and signed, with the agreed validity period attached.

What’s included
  • Approval inbox shared by recruiter, hiring manager and finance, with a badge count
  • Governed templates with validity days; issued, viewed and signed tracked per offer
  • DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign or Superset e-Sign; Aadhaar eSign via connector

Gate 3

Agree the offer before it goes out.

Keep compensation approvals connected to the requisition, with exceptions routed to the right people before release.

Background verification

Complete the checks before the handoff.

Track required background checks on the offer, including identity, employment and education. Verification status and vendor timelines remain visible, and discrepancies need an authorised review before joining can proceed.

What’s included
  • Seven check types; six states: not started, in progress, clear, discrepancy, failed, waived
  • Vendors via connectors (AuthBridge, HireRight, IDfy) or Superset’s own checks, with SLA days
  • An automation rule chases the coordinator when verification stalls past ten days
Security and trust

Fraud and identity

Confidence in the person joining your team.

Review identity and experience checks alongside the candidate’s assessment history, with concerns highlighted for your team.

  • Photo-match

Photo-match compares the person across the assessment, the interview and the identity document, so the person who sat the technical round is the person who joins. Proxy interviews are the failure mode this exists for.

  • Document verification

Identity, education and employment documents are verified, and the result sits on the offer beside the check it belongs to. Fabricated experience is caught before joining, not after.

  • Duplicate checks

Fuzzy identity matching flags a candidate who already exists under another name, email or number, and routes the pair to duplicate resolution. It runs quietly and continuously, not as a step someone has to remember.

Fraud and identity checks are one of the models covered on the AI in Elevator page, where what each model may and may not decide is written down.

HRIS handoff

Send a complete record to your HRIS.

Preview the information and field sources before creating a pre-hire in your HRIS. Its own approval process continues, and the employee ID returns to Elevator to complete the hiring record.

What’s included
  • Payload preview with the source of every field before it is sent
  • Workday HCM and SAP SuccessFactors connectors; the employee ID returns to the candidate record
  • A recruiting layer, not a second HR system: positions and workers stay in the HRIS
HRIS and other connectors

  • Multi-currency bands, INR and AED today
  • Band-breach routing that adds a compensation-committee approver automatically, with a tolerance
  • Offer versioning with a v1 to v2 diff, candidate response and counter-offer log with actor

  • Offer approval inbox shared by recruiter, hiring manager and finance
  • Governed letter templates with validity days and issued, viewed, signed tracking
  • DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign or Superset e-Sign; Aadhaar eSign via connector

Offers and verified hire, answered

What is offer management software?
Offer management software builds a compensation offer, routes it for approval, sends it for signature and records every version and response along the way. In Elevator the offer is built from six compensation components inside the requisition’s band, approvals are routed by written rules, the letter is signed electronically, and the negotiation is logged on the record rather than in an inbox. Joining is then gated on background verification before the hire reaches the HRIS.
What happens when an offer is above band?
A compensation-committee approver is added to the chain automatically, before final signature. The requisition carries a grade band; when the offer breaches it beyond a set tolerance, Elevator inserts the approver rather than waiting for someone to notice. A small overage, such as 0.3%, stays inside tolerance and does not convene a committee.
What is background verification as a gate?
Background verification as a gate means joining stays blocked until every required check has cleared, rather than verification being a checkbox someone ticks after the start date. Each of the seven check types carries its own state on the offer: not started, in progress, clear, discrepancy, failed or waived. A discrepancy stops the handoff until a named person resolves or waives it.
Does Elevator push hires to our HRIS?
Yes. When an offer is signed and verification is clear, Elevator creates a pre-hire in Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, and shows you the exact payload and where each field was joined from before it is sent. The HRIS’s own approval chain still runs, and the employee ID comes back to Elevator to close the loop. Elevator never edits an existing worker record.
How is the negotiation recorded?
Every change produces a new offer version, and the diff between versions is shown field by field with the actor who made it. The candidate’s response and each counter-offer are logged on the offer, so the recruiter, hiring manager and finance approver read the same history. Nothing about the negotiation lives only in someone’s email.
Which e-signature providers are supported?
Offer letters can be signed through DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign or Superset e-Sign, with Aadhaar eSign available via connector. The letter is generated from a governed template with a validity period, and issued, viewed and signed are tracked per offer. Which provider is used is configured during onboarding.
Does Elevator handle onboarding after the hire?
Not today. Elevator’s scope ends at a verified hire handed to the HRIS as a pre-hire with the employee ID returned; pre-joining task lists and payroll handoff are not part of the current product. The HRIS remains the system of record for the worker from that point.
