Questions about the platform

What is the Elevator platform?
The Elevator platform is an applicant tracking system, talent CRM and evaluation engine built by Superset. It runs a hire through seven stages, from requisition and headcount approval to verified hire and HRIS handoff, and enforces three approval gates along the way. Each stage has its own capability page on this site.
What does “seven stages and three gates” mean?
The seven stages are requisitions, posting, talent CRM, screening, interviews, offers and verified hire; the three gates are headcount approval, the committee decision and compensation band approval. A gate is a point where the next stage cannot start until the previous one has been signed off by a named person, and the platform enforces that rather than reminding someone to. Stages 1 to 3 are talent acquisition operations; stages 4 to 7 are the evaluation and verification engine.
Does Elevator replace our HRIS?
No. Elevator is the talent acquisition layer; your HRIS stays the system of record for positions, org structure and workers. Requisitions can flow in from Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, accepted hires flow back as pre-hires with a payload preview, and Elevator never edits an existing worker.
Which roles is Elevator built for?
Elevator is built for professional roles across six families: technology and engineering; BFSI, risk and compliance; sales and go-to-market; operations and supply chain; data, analytics and AI; and corporate functions. Pipeline templates, assessment batteries and interview loops are chosen by role and seniority, so an engineering leadership hire and a high-volume operations hire run differently on the same platform.
Is Elevator only for India?
No. Elevator is sold and supported by Superset’s teams in India and United Arab Emirates, and customers hire across regions. Compensation bands are multi-currency, with INR and AED today, the product is in English, and it is hosted on AWS with data residency documented in the security pack.
How does Elevator relate to Superset’s campus platform?
Elevator is a separate product for hiring beyond campus, the roles you fill all year. It shares Superset’s assessment engine, proctoring, AI screening and security infrastructure with the campus platform. The campus platform is built around batch hiring programmes with institutions; Elevator is built around individual requisitions, continuous sourcing, structured interview loops and compensation approvals. An employer can run both from one vendor, and a campus programme appears in Elevator as one sourcing channel among many.
How long does implementation take?
Implementation is a fixed sequence of steps rather than a fixed calendar. Single sign-on and the HRIS connector are configured during onboarding; cost centres, grades, locations and approval chains are mapped from the HRIS or entered once; the six pipeline templates are adopted automatically by department and seniority; then the first requisition opens. Most of the elapsed time is your own policy decisions, such as who approves what and within how many days, and a demo walks through that list against your roles.
